The Town of Indian Head invites sealed proposals from qualified contractors for the supply of all labour, materials and equipment necessary for the installation of approximately 5,000 square feet of rubber flooring throughout the lobby, dressing rooms and washrooms of the AJM Davies Arena, located at 810 Woodward Avenue. In addition to this building, we are seeking proposals for the installation of approximately 2,500 square feet of non-slip flooring at the Indian Head Swimming Pool, located at 900 Grand Avenue, Indian Head, Saskatchewan. Notification of Project Awarded: August 13, 2024 Project Completion: September 30, 2024 (Arena), the swimming pool does not have a definitive completion date The project may be viewed by contacting the Community Development Officer at the contact number below to arrange suitable times. Each proponent is solely responsible for ensuring that it has all information necessary to prepare its proposal and for independently verifying and informing itself with respect to any terms or conditions that may affect this proposal. The evaluation of proposals will involve both qualitative and quantitative elements. All proposals presented will be evaluated on the basis of the value they provide to the Town of Indian Head including experience, capacity, etc. While cost is a significant factor, the lowest or any proposal will not necessarily be accepted. Proponents are welcome to bid on both projects or on an individual project, however preference will be given to a contractor who can complete both. verables o Prepare all surfaces for new rubber flooring including o Patch/repair the sub surfaces as required; o Removal of any baseboards, benches, brackets, plumbing, etc. that is required to be removed as part of the installation of new rubber flooring. o Work with facilities management team to select the preferred colour of the rubber. o Installation of rubber tiles/mats or comparable product that is suitable for the primary function of each facility. o Re-install baseboards, benches, brackets, plumbing etc. that were removed. o Dispose of waste materials as required. o All warranty information for parts and labour and equipment certification is required. o Contractor must leave the area in a clean and tidy condition. Contractor work areas must be clearly marked. o The Contractor shall protect all facility structures, equipment etc. against damage. Anything damaged by the Contractor's operations shall be repaired or replaced at the Contractor's expense. o The Contractor shall comply with all applicable Municipal, Provincial and Federal regulations, including environmental and safety requirements while working on Town Property. o The Contractor's employees must have proper certifications to operate equipment if required for the tasks.
