PROJECT CLASSIFICATION: Specialty - Telecommunications CONTRACT TIME: 1460 Calendar Days LIQUIDATED DAMAGES: $140 per Calendar Day, per Job/Work Order A Certified Check or Cashier's Check, payable to the City of Ruston or a satisfactory Bid Bond executed by the Bidder and an acceptable surety, in the amount of $150,000 shall be submitted with each bid. Bidders are advised that both a Performance Bond, in the amount of $250,000, will be required. Bids shall be received only on bid forms furnished by the City. In no event shall bid forms be issued later than twenty-four (24) hours prior to the hour and date set for receiving bids. The Bidder is advised that the City of Ruston is an Equal Opportunity Employer. Bid proposals, amendments to bids, or request for withdrawal of bids, received after time specified for bid opening shall not be considered for any cause whatsoever. The bid proposal is firm for a period of forty-five (45) days from the date of the opening of bids and no bid proposal can be withdrawn for any reason during this period of time. The City of Ruston reserves the right to reject any or all bid proposals for just cause. ***Document Note: Bidders may elect to submit bids electronically via the internet.
