Site work and renovation of a mixed-use development in Harrison, New Jersey. Completed plans call for the renovation of a parking garage; for site work for a parking garage; water / sewer project; and water / sewer project.

Documents on the project are from the original bid and the project contact has been unresponsive to the content team in providing updated documents for the rebid. GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF PROJECT: Project (the Project) Base Bid mainly involves tasks such as pour strip and precast double tee concrete repairs; overhead and vertical concrete repairs; shear connector repairs; slab on grade repairs; pre-cast concrete tee joint sealant replacement; surface scaling repairs; grout injecting of cracks; epoxy injecting of cracks; sealing of cracks and joints; cove joint repairs; expansion joint repairs; installation of waterproofing membrane; new floor drains and piping; faade sealant replacement; stair towers waterproofing coating; other miscellaneous repairs. The alternate work includes the replacement of stair tower roofing systems; replacement of downspouts at stair tower; replacement of metal coping at stair tower. QUESTIONS: In order to assist those invited to submit a proposal and their prospective subcontractors, the following sources are available for consultation: Paul J. Zarbetski (pjzarbetski@townofharrison.com) and Greg Goode (ggoode@townofharrison.com). The Town is not required to answer any questions submitted after Friday, September 13th 2024. BID SECURITY: Bid Security is required in an amount of not less than ten percent (10%) of the total amount of the Bid, but not in excess of Twenty Thousand Dollars ($20,000.00) CONSENT OF SURETY: Certificate from a Surety Company is required indicating consent to be bound as surety and guarantor for performance required under the Contract Documents. STATUTORY REQUIREMENTS: Bidders are required to comply with the requirements of P.L. 1975, c. 127(NJAC 17:27) (Affirmative Action), and the requirements of P.L. 1963, c. 150 (Prevailing Wage), and the requirements of N.J.S.A. 10:2-1, et.seq., and the requirements of the Contract Documents. REJECTION OF BIDS: The Town of Harrison reserves the right to reject any or all Bids, or to waive any Bid defect where such defect is not detrimental to the best interest of the Town of Harrison and fairness of the bidding process. The right is also reserved to increase or decrease the quantities specified in the manner designated in the Contract Documents.
