McDowell County, NC (Owner) is requesting bids for the construction of the following Project:Transfer Station Improvements, McDowell County The right to reject any or all bids and proposals, and to waive informalities in bids is reserved. Rohit restated the bidding schedule listed in the Contract Documents and the pre-bid meeting agenda. Rohit reiterated that Thursday, September 19, 2024, at 5:00 PM, is the deadline for receiving questions or requests for clarification pertaining to the Contract Documents. All questions or requests for clarification must be submitted in writing via email to the Engineer (rgarg@labellapc.com). Questions submitted after this date/time will not be answered. Please ask for verification that your email was received. Scope of Work: Rohit provided a summary of project scope of work (not inclusive): Obtain necessary McDowell County permits; Mobilization and sites preparation for new construction; Construction staking and final survey; Erosion and sediment control; Construction of retaining wall; Excavation and placement of new fill (as needed); Concrete pavement and Gravel Area; Installation of stormwater piping and structures; Installation of temporary holding tank and leachate pipe; Installation of trench drains; Pressure Grouting; Underpinning of push wall; Existing bay retaining wall repair; Concrete repairs; Construction of overlay slab; Installation of push plate; Installation of wear plate; and Sites restoration.
