Reference number: 20006923 Deadline for receipt of complaints: 2024-08-19 McGill University wishes to retain the services of a Construction Manager to complete its team for the construction of a new building for the Carrefour de recherche architecturale du bâtiment (CRAB) - Building-Architecture-Research Node (BARN) project. BARN will be located on the agricultural campus of McGill University's Macdonald campus. It includes a state-of-the-art wood-processing shop and a high-rise space for manufacturing, assembling and testing innovative building technologies. There are offices and laboratories for a team of researchers in the fields of energy, ecology, landscape, forestry, architecture, engineering and construction. The Construction Manager will be asked to provide consulting expertise to support the University in receiving in-kind contributions (products, materials and services) from suppliers/partners. These partners will be evaluated based on the contribution and will receive prominent exposure showcasing the donated products: on-site at BARN facilities; recognition on the donor wall, online recognition, product display and description in BARN's digital matchmaking template. Based on the evaluation of contributions, industrial partners will be invited to become members of the Founding Partners Circle and to become a long-term partner in the advancement of the research and training program as a member of the "DeCarb Comunity of Research and Practice".
