Scope of Services The City is seeking a consultant to update water demand factors for the City of Ventura. The 2025 water demand factor study will include the tasks below. The consultant is encouraged to suggest additions or modifications to the scope that will enhance or clarify the study; these suggestions should be incorporated in the proposal. The City of Ventura is located 62 miles north of Los Angeles and 30 miles south of Santa Barbara along the California Coastline. Ventura Water, a department of the City of Ventura, owns, operates, and maintains a water distribution system that provides water service to a population of approximately 113,500 persons and has approximately 32,000 service connections. The City currently depends fully on local water supplies consisting of surface water from the Ventura River and Lake Casitas, groundwater from three local groundwater basins, and recycled water from the Ventura Water Reclamation Facility. Questions to be submitted via Email Wednesday, July 31, 2024, at 2:00PM Addendum to be Issued, if required Friday, August 2, 2024 The final water demand factor study is expected to be completed by Fall 2025. The City reserves the right to reject any and all proposals received. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
