This requirement is Set-Aside for Small Disadvantaged Businesses IAW FAR 19.502-1(2) 60 LRS/LGRF has a requirement for 30 D-3 single point nozzles which is the latest model of single point fuel nozzles. D-3 differs from the previous D-1 and D-2 nozzles as it has a swivel on the throat to allow it to adjust to the location of the SPR. Currently on our refuelers we have either D-1 or D-2 this limits our capability to 44% as we are only able to utilize refueling unites with nozzles specific to the aircraft. With the employment of D-3 nozzles we would be able to utilize 100% of our fleet for every aircraft as D-3 can act both D-1 and D-2 nozzles. Description: The contractor will provide and ship 30 D-3 single point nozzles (with accompanying ball valves), as well as 3 rebuild kits. The rebuild kits include 1 GF rebuild kit, 1 D-3 rebuild Kit, and 1 Ball Valve rebuild kit. Single Point D-3 Nozzles must be either CLA-VAL or JC Carter brand. Brand Name Options Include: JC CARTER options: NSN 4930-01-534-0950 PN# 47566 Or NSN 4930-01-544-1945 PN# 64201N Or NSN 4930-01-544-1949 PN# 64349N Or CLA-VAL 341 GF (205195-01K) Ball Valves are expected to be included as part of the D-3 Single Point Nozzles. If the ball valves are not attached- Approved Ball Valve options include: JC CARTER PN# 64015 OR CLA-VAL PN# E349GF/E349GF-1 Ball valves should match Nozzle Brand. Special Requirements: Nozzles are equipped with quick disconnects and are interchangeable on the 2-1/2 in. hose reel. The single point nozzle is also equipped with a vacuum breaker and a hose end regulator and is installed on the fuel servicing hose
