TPWD is requesting sealed bids to perform all Work required for the following Project: Project Name ADA Upgrades for the Temporary Headquarters Project Location Colorado Bend State Park Question Deadline 07/26/2024 at 5:00 PM CT SUBMIT QUESTIONS TO INFContracting@tpwd.texas.gov CONTACT: All requests, questions, or other communications about this Solicitation shall be made in writing to TPWD's Infrastructure Division, addressed to the following person: Anthony Habermann, Contract Manager Texas Parks & Wildlife Department 4200 Smith School Road, Austin, Texas 78744 Phone: 512-389-4645 Email: INFContracting@tpwd.texas.gov, Attn: Anthony Habermann Construction Estimate $40,000.00 General Scope of Work: ADA Upgrades for the Temporary Headquarters at Colorado Bend State Park. This Contract is contingent upon the continued availability of funding. If funds become unavailable through lack of appropriations, legislative budget cuts, amendment of the Appropriations Act, state agency consolidations, or any other disruption of current appropriations, provisions of the Termination Article in Attachments A - General Terms and Conditions for Minor Repair shall apply. 2.2. The Purchase Order (Contract) may be extended by TPWD because of changes ordered in the work or due to unforeseeable delays not within the control of or arising from the fault of either party. Claims or extensions of time must be made in writing and supported by sufficient written evidence to justify the claim. Claims for extensions of time shall be granted by written Change Order. 2.3. The Contract shall terminate upon full performance of all requirements contained in this Contract, unless otherwise extended, as provided in accordance with the Contract terms and conditions. Project Schedule: All work shall be completed within one hundred eighty (180) calendar days commencing on the date specified in the Authorization to Proceed. This performance period includes completing the various aspects required to complete the Work, including submission of all Submittals, mobilization, procurement, installation, testing, inspection and delivery of documents described in Terms and Conditions. Therefore, failure to take advantage of the site visit time listed herein may result in potential bidders who are unable to visit the project site at all. Failure to give proper consideration to site conditions when preparing the bid will not constitute grounds for addThis project is to have a qualified contractor furnish all labor, tools, equipment, materials, and incidentals to construct and / or install the following: an accessible exterior ramp, steps, landing, concrete accessible parking space with accessibility signage, a concrete sidewalk, and building signs for the temporary headquarters at Colorado Bend State Park. It is the intention of TPWD to call for finished work that is tested, and ready for operation. Any apparatus, material or work described in the IFB and related documents, and any incidental accessories necessary to make the work complete in all respects and ready for operation (even though not particularly specified) shall be furnished, delivered, and installed by the Contractor without additional expense to TPWD.
