Renovation of an educational facility in Stockton, California. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.

To bid on this Project, the Bidder is required to possess one or more of the following State of California contractors' license(s): B, or C-39. The Bidder's license(s) must remain active and in good standing throughout the term of the Contract. To bid on this Project, the Bidder is required to be registered as a public works contractor with the Department of Industrial Relations pursuant to the Labor Code. Any bid that is submitted after this time shall be nonresponsive and returned to the bidder. Any claim by a bidder of error in its bid must be made in compliance with section 5100 et seq. of the Public Contract Code. Location-Bush Elementary School , 5420 Fred Russo Drive Stockton, CA 95212 The Project consists of: Complete removal and replacement of the roofing and associated sheet metal on buildings A, B, C & D. General scope of work but not limited to; 1. Buildings: A, B, C & D: 2. Includes removal and disposal of existing roofing system(s), insulation board, gutters, flashings, copings, etc. for a complete prepared roof surface. 3. All roof drains and overflow drains are to be water tested prior to the start of the roof removal. Roof drains or overflow drains which are not performing correctly should be brought to the attention of the district prior to proceeding. All roof and overflow drains shall be water tested at the end of the project for proper operation. 4. Include one hundred (100) square feet of decking replacement included in the base bid price. A per square foot price will be inserted into the bid form for anything needed and approved by the district over 100 square feet. Before and after photos of all dryrot replacement must be submitted with billing as justification, payment will not be make without proper documentation. 5. Raise all roof curbs to a minimum of 8" above the finished roof height. 6. Install one layer of rosin over the entire wood roof deck. 7. Install one layer of 1.5" polyiso board insulation & tapered insulation crickets as needed and required for proper slope and water flow to all of the roof drains. 8. Install one layer of 1/2 " wood fiber insulation board with screws and plates, 16 per 4'x 8' sheet. Both insulation boards can be fastened with one common fastener. 9. Install one layer of Stressbase 80 ply sheet in the specified adhesive. Cut all T-joint corners at a 45 degree angle. 10. Install 24 gauge bonderized / pre primed 1/4" low rise gravel stop edge metal with 22 gauge cleat. Paint to match the color will be submitted and chosen by the district. 11. Install all new 4lb lead flashings at pipe penetrations, roof drains, and overflow drains. Install a factory lead cap counter flashing at all penetrations except those connected to mechanical equipment. Install at all connected penetrations a 4lb lead collar counter flashing, band, flare the top out, seal with Tuff Stuff sealant. 12. Install one layer of Stressply Plus FR Mineral cap sheet in the specified adhesive. Cut all Tjoint corners at a 45 degree angle. 13. Three course all base flashing laps, corners, etc. and add granules into the fresh mastic. 14. Three course the top of all base flashings prior to installation of skirt / counter flashing. 15. Install Garla Flex mastic at all gravel stop locations along the entire edge, allow to cure prior to installation of the roof coating. 16. Install Pyramic Plus Lo acrylic coating in two coats at 1.5 gal per sq per coat for a total of 3 gallons per square. Back roll both the base coat and top coat for complete adhesion, coverage, and mil thickness. Top coat is to be applied in a cross hatch pattern. Additional coats may be required for proper coverage. 17. Install new 24 gauge galvanized sheet metal skirt flashing at all HVAC and roof curbs. 18. Install new PVC condensate lines from all HVAC units to the roof drains or condensate drain. Install new wood or rubber blocking to properly support the new condensate lines. 19. Install new galvanized sheet metal vents at all vent roof curbs, vent locations, and dormer style vent locations. 20. Install new 24 gauge bonderized / pre primed coping cap with 22 gauge cleat raise 1/2" at the outside edge to slope to the interior. Fasten at 24" on center on the interior leg. Paint to match the color is to be chosen by the district. 21. Install new 24 gauge bonderized / pre primed gutters and downspouts at the existing locations. Paint to match the color is to be chosen by the district.
