A timeline for award has not yet been established.** Located in the Borough of Flemington Hunterdon County, New Jersey, the proposed improvements include but are not limited to: 1,350 linear feet of 8" SDR-35 Sewer Pipe 1,050 linear feet of 4" SDR-26 Sewer Pipe 7 units sanitary manholes 35 units cleanout connections 1,000 s.y. remove concrete and asphalt pavement. Topsoil and pavement restoration items. No bids will be received unless in writing on the prepared bid form contained in the contract documents, and unless accompanied by a non-collusion affidavit and a bid security in the form of a bid bond or certified check drawn upon a National or State Bank or Trust Company, made payable to the Borough of Flemington in the amount of not less than ten percent (10%) of the total amount bid (or $500.00, whichever is greater), but in no case in excess of $20,000.00. Each bid must also be accompanied by a certificate from a bonding company licensed to do business in the State of New Jersey guaranteeing that if the Proposal of the Bidder be accepted, a Performance Bond will be furnished in the face amount of the bid. Acceptance of the bid is contingent upon the fulfillment of this requirement. This contract is expected to be funded in part with funds from the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection and the New Jersey Environmental Infrastructure Trust. Neither the State of New Jersey, the New Jersey Environmental Infrastructure Trust nor any of their departments, agencies or employees is, or will be, a party to this contract or subcontract or any lower tier contract or subcontract. This contract or subcontract is subject to the provisions of N.J.A.C. 7:22-3, 4, 5, 9 and 10." All applicable surety bonds required in connection with the advertisement and award of building contracts or subagreements must be written by a surety company listed on the Federal Treasury List (Department Circular 570-Surety Companies Acceptable on Federal Bonds), incorporated herein by reference. The successful bidder will also be required to deliver to Borough proof of insurance on or before execution of the Contract and shall be required to deliver a Performance Bond and Payment Bond to Owner within ten (10) days of the award of the Contract, as described and licensed to do business in the State of New Jersey.
