Traffic Control Guardrail Installation The Contractor is hereby advised that TIME IS OF THE ESSENCE on this project and that the contract time of 60 working calendar days for all areas combined and noted restrictions shall be strictly observed. LIQUIDATED DAMAGES WILL BE ASSESSED IF THE CONTRACT TIME IS EXCEEDED.The Contractor may apply for an extension of time in accordance with the provisions of the contract; however, such an extension must be approved prior to the contract completion date to avoid the imposition of liquidated damages No Bid will be withdrawn after the time for opening has passed. The Owner reserves the right to hold the bids for a period of sixty (60) days after the date of receiving Bids The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive any information in any bid, and to accept any bid considered advantageous to the Owner.
