PCC Driveway Approach and Replacement -- 349 SY Grading Mobilization and Traffic Control The first section on N. Elm is between Irving Street on the south and the Hurley Creek culvert on the north. This is the section with the curb and gutter, driveway replacement and three inches of asphalt. The second section on N. Elm is between Prairie Street and Townline Street. This section is milling and two inches of asphalt. Actual locations to be determined. Bids will be received from a single primary contract. No bid may be withdrawn for a period of 30 calendar days after the date of the bid opening. To the extent permitted by law, the City of Creston reserves the right to waive minor irregularities and to reject all bids or portions thereof. Award of Contract is tentatively set for August 20th, 2024. All work must be substantially completed by May 31st, 2025. This project is sales tax exempt. The owner will issue an exemption certificate for the purchase or use of building materials, supplies, and equipment that will be used in the performance of the construction contract. The winning bidder must provide a certificate of insurance with a minimum of $1,000,000 coverage and list the City of Creston as an additional insured.
