Renovation of a water / sewer project in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.

Question Deadline 08/19/2024 All questions related to this proposed Contract, pre-bid site tour, or interested bidders list must be directed in writing to Nathan Churchill at nchurchill@mmsd.com no later than three days before the Bid opening date The project contemplated consists of installing eight mechanical alignment switches on the four main recycle bucket elevators located in the Dewatering and Drying Facility (Building 258) at the Jones Island Water Reclamation Facility (JIWRF) located at 700 East Jones Street, Milwaukee, WI 53207. The selected contractor shall install eight mechanical alignment switches on each of the four elevators and install conduits to route and terminate the switch trip signal wires to an electrical cabinet. These switches, once installed, will send a signal to the plant control system if an elevator's belt shifts out of alignment, stopping the elevator and preventing damage to the equipment. The alignment switches to be installed will be provided to the selected contractor by the Owner.
