Site work and new construction of a clubhouse / community center in Douglasville, Georgia. Conceptual plans call for the construction of a clubhouse / community center; and for site work for a clubhouse / community center.
Douglas County ("Owner" or the "County") is issuing this Request for Proposal ("RFP") to solicit proposals ("Proposals") from a qualified Civil + Architect team ("Respondents") to assist in the development of a concept and detailed design for a new proposed senior center. The new senior center will be Dog River Library Complex located at 6100 GA-5, Douglasville, GA 30135. No bid will be received and accepted after the above specified date and time of the bid opening. Bids submitted after the designated date and time will be deemed invalid and returned unopened to the bidder. No bid may be withdrawn within ninety (90) days after the bid opening and all bids shall remain firm during this period. Douglas County reserves the right to waive informalities, to reject any and all bids, to evaluate bids, to accept portions of any bid, and to accept any bid, which in its opinion, may be in the best interest of the County. The County reserves the right to add to or delete from the contract after the contract has been awarded. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
