Site work and renovation of a warehouse / distribution facility in San Jose, California. Completed plans call for the renovation of a warehouse / distribution facility; and for site work for a warehouse / distribution facility.
Interior and exterior improvements of the existing Oakland Road Warehouse located in the existing building in San Jose California. The project is to provide interior and exterior improvements of the existing building to accommodate Santa Clara County storage requirements. Overall project building area is approximately 82, 900 sq. ft. and the lot size is approximately 4.76 acres. The scope of work consists of, but may not be limited to, the following: Site Work o Demolition Work. o Site Grading and Site Improvement. o Providing security fences and associated site work. Interior Improvement Work Providing wire mesh partitions in the warehouse areas, including doors & gates. o Providing workstations at offices, open office, and in the warehouse area, including worktables and chairs. Exterior Improvement Work o Providing loading dock equipment and warehouse accessories, including parking bumpers, bollards, guard rails, column protectors, door rail protectors and door operators. o Providing security fence and associated site work. Structural o Providing concrete pads, foundations, slabs on grade, retaining walls, and other associated structural work. Mechanical o Providing rooftop exhaust fan, rooftop air conditioning unit, humidifiers, and associated HVAC work. Electrical and Low Voltage o Providing lighting and power on the interior and exterior warehouse area, and other associated electrical work. o Providing data cables, Wi-Fi access waypoint, card readers and all other associated low voltage work. Plumbing o Providing pipes, fittings, valves, drains, and all other accessories for all plumbing modifications / improvements, and all other associated plumbing work. Fire Protection o Providing fire alarm system and fire sprinkler modifications/improvements. Permits o Owner is responsible for obtaining railroad permit, but Contractor to include allowance for Railroad Protective Liability insurance and any other associated insurance costs. Equipment o Contractor to furnish Yale MR16N Forklift model will need to have the 3 stage 334" lift capability or equivalent Contractor to assume that all soil is to be off hauled to class II facilities. Notwithstanding, in its sole and absolute discretion the County reserves the right to expand the solicitation to all contractors, conduct another round prequalification, or not pursue the prequalification process.
