Project Location: Veterans Memorial Park, 5034 Lake Shore Drive, Bolton Landing, New York 12814. Contract term: 12 months approximately The Work of this Contract, as defined in greater detail by other provisions of the Contract Documents, consists of a new recreation building, new exterior restroom building, new picnic pavilion, and site work improvements including a new playground, veterans memorial plaza, pathways, site utilities, and stormwater management. Construction Contract: In accordance with Section 135 of the New York State Finance Law, commonly known as the 'Wicks Law', Lump Sum Bids shall be received for the following Multiple-Prime Contracts: 1. Contract 1 - General Construction Contract (GC). 2. Contract 2 - Mechanical (HVAC) Construction Contract (MC). 3. Contract 3 - Electrical Construction Contract (EC). 4. Contract 4 - Plumbing Construction Contract (PE). Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Set Aside: No Minority Owned Sub-Contracting Goal: 15% Women Owned Sub-Contracting Goal: 15% 1. Contract Award (Tentative) September 3, 2024 2. Mobilization and Construction Start At Notice to Proceed 3. Buildings Enclosed December 1, 2024 4. Substantial Completion August 1, 2025 5. Final Completion August 15, 2025 Accompanying each bid shall be a bid bond, certified check or bank (cashier's) check, made payable to the Town of Bolton in the amount of five percent (5.0%) of the Bidder's maximum bid amount, as a guarantee that if the Contract is awarded to a Bidder, said successful Bidder will comply with the Notice to Bidders and the specifications for the Contract in accordance herewith. Said bid bond, certified check or bank (cashier's) check will be retained by the Town of Bolton, and upon completion of the Contract Agreement, in accordance with said specifications, the said bid bond, certified check or bank (cashier's) check will be returned to the Bidder. Separate Performance Bonds, separate Labor and Material Payment Bond, and Insurance in a form acceptable to Owner will be required of the successful Bidder. All questions pertaining to the bid shall be directed in writing via email to Tim Larson, Associate Principal, The LA Group, P.C., tlarson@thelagroup.com. On failure to comply with the Notice to Bidders and the specifications for said Contract, the successful Bidder shall forfeit the bid bond as liquidated damages to the Town of Bolton. The Town of Bolton reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive any and all informalities, and to disregard all nonconforming, non-responsive or conditional bids.
