An electronic copy of the proposal should additionally be submitted to the Town Clerk via email to sdonnelly@townofossining.com by the deadline.Reference Number 0000358500 The Town of Ossining is interested in retaining a consultant to conduct the design and engineering services for the construction of a new multi-sports court to be integrated into Ryder Park. This Request for Proposals (RFP) is intended to help the Town select a qualified and experienced consultant. The Town has obtained grants through American Rescue Plan Act grant program to construct a new multi-sports court at Ryder Park. This new multi-sports court will be integrated with the existing facilities already at Ryder Park. Currently, Ryder Park contains two existing tennis courts, three baseball/softball fields, a playground, a pavilion, and an out-of-date asphalt basketball court. The construction work will include a basketball/volleyball court, two pickleball courts, and a 70' long batting cage. This portion of the project will be replacing the out-of-date basketball court. The work will also include addressing the drainage issues of the area and a wall barrier of the tennis court. The conceptual design for this project is for the court to be the same size as the tennis courts next to it. This court is roughly 110 feet by 120 feet and is to be built with accommodations for pickleball, basketball, and volleyball. Attachment A includes a location map for the project.
