Site work and paving for a civil project in Beaufort, North Carolina. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; and water / sewer project.

The Work to be performed under the Contract includes the construction of 1027+ linear feet (LF) of gravity sewer 6' to 10' deep along the Live Oak St. right-of-way and along a portion of a driveway to a Town-owned well, including four (4) new 4 ft., diameter manholes, replacement and removal of approximately 104 square yards of asphalt pavement, together with construction 454+ LF of water main including 70 LF installed by dry bore and jack beneath Live Oak Street. Also, approximately 120 LF of 6" water service line and a fire hydrant assembly are to be installed. Bids will be received on Single Prime contract basis. Bids shall be on a lump sum and/or unit price basis. The Town of Beaufort will not be responsible for full or partial sets of Bidding Documents, including any addenda, obtained from other sources. Electronic copies in Adobe format of the complete contract documents may be obtained from the Town at no charge. Bid and Contract securities shall be provided in accordance with Articles 10 and 23 of the Instructions to Bidders. Bidders must be properly licensed under Chapter 87 of the North Carolina General Statutes and under Municipal Code 11-9. The Town of Beaufort reserves the right to waive any informalities, to reject any or all bids, and to accept that Bid or Bids which appear to be in the Owner's best interest.
