Site work and paving for a road / highway in Kingsville, Texas. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.

Questions related to this bid should be directed to City Engineer, Rutilio "Rudy" P. Mora Jr., P.E., at (361) 595- 8004, or via email at rmora@cityofkingsville.com. A bid bond must be provided of all responders in the amount of 5% of your total bid. The successful Respondent must furnish a Payment, Performance, and Maintenance Bonds in the amount of 100% of the contract price from an approved Surety Company holding a permit from the State of Texas, to act as Surety and acceptable (according to the latest list of companies holding certificates of approval by the State Board of Insurance under 7.19-1 of the Texas Insurance Code). The successful respondent must also be able to show evidence that it is authorized to do business in the State of Texas prior to executing the contract. The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids or to waive formalities. In case of ambiguity or lack of cleanliness in stating the price in the bids the Owner reserves the right to consider the most advantageous construction thereof, or to reject the bid. An unreasonable or unbalanced unit price will be considered sufficient cause of rejection of any bid or bids. Liquidated damages are $200 per day.
