In addition to providing and delivering work specified in Section 2.2.1 above, the awarded Offeror shall provide the following ancillary services: 2.3.1.1. Traffic control shall be provided to ensure the safety of both the workers performing pavement maintenance as well as for the motorists and pedestrians using the pavement surfaces. A traffic control plan must be submitted and approved prior to the awarded Offeror commencing work; 2.3.1.2. Must perform surface preparation to include cleaning pavement surfaces immediately prior to placing the surface treatment so that it is free of dust, dirt, grease, vegetation, oil, or any type of objectionable surface film. Remove oil or grease by scrubbing with a detergent, then wash thoroughly with clean water; 2.3.1.3. The application of the coal tar emulsion surface treatment shall be in accordance with the manufacturer's recommendations to include, but not limited to the application rate, application during suggested pavement temperatures, and the use of manufacturer's suggested application tools such as trucks, wands, etc; Reference Number 0000358331 The Authority seeks to purchase pavement rejuvenation services to include but not limited to pavement cleaning and sweeping, application of a coal tar emulsion surface treatment, and restriping of all obscured pavement markings on Landing View Lane and adjacent access roads as shown in attached Exhibit 1.
