Renovation of a municipal facility in Hudson Falls, New York. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.

The Village of Hudson Falls, above named, reserves the right to waive any irregularity and reject any or all Bids. The project includes a Roofing Construction Contract and associated work for the reroofing work at 218 Main Street in Hudson Falls, NY This Section specifies the removal and disposal of asbestos-containing materials (ACM), and asbestos-contaminated materials to accommodate the roof replacement project at the Hudson Falls Village Hall, located at 218 Main Street, Hudson Falls, NY 12839. 1.02 WORK INCLUDED A. The Contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, supervision, construction tools, and equipment necessary to perform the following work: 1. Provide continuous on-site supervision by personnel knowledgeable in all aspects of asbestos removal and disposal. 2. Provide and maintain environmental protective measures, equipment, and procedures at the work site. 3. Provide and maintain personnel protective measures, equipment, and procedures at the work site. 4. Provide and maintain personnel and waste decontamination facilities as required. Coordinate location of these facilities with Owner's personnel or representative. 5. Package, transport, and dispose of all asbestos in accordance with all applicable federal, state and local regulations. 6. Contractor and their employees and subcontractors shall cooperate with the Owner's site-specific policies and procedures. Additionally, Contractor shall fully cooperate with designated representatives with regard to air monitoring and observation of procedures. 7. Remove all ACM illustrated on Drawing H100 of the Contract Documents. Removals include, but are not limited to, asbestos tar vapor barrier and the adjacent layers of asbestos-contaminated roofing system. 8. The pre-renovation asbestos survey for the site has been included in Attachment A of this section. 9. Contractor must investigate and be satisfied as to quantities and conditions, and base their Bid accordingly. Coordination of all removals with other trades, if necessary, shall be the responsibility of the Contractor. Question Deadline 08/01/2024
