The Work generally consists of constructing a 2,575 square foot pre-cast building and installation of central heating and cooling equipment to serve the terminal and demolition of existing central heating and cooling equipment in the terminal and associated architectural, structural, mechanical, plumbing, electrical, technology, and sitework at the Eastern Iowa Airport in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. The Cedar Rapids Airport Commission anticipates a Notice-to-Proceed to be issued no earlier than immediately following submittal and approval of the properly executed contract documents following contract award, anticipated for August 26, 2024, and has established the following completion requirements: o Phase 2: Complete by May 1, 2025; o Terminal Central Water Plant: Systems fully operational by October 30, 2025; o Project Complete by April 23, 2026; o Final Completion: 120 Calendar Days following Project Completion date. All project work shall be substantially completed within the stated timeframe. This project is subject to liquidated damages as prescribed within the project manual.
