The project is located at the Sioux Gateway Airport, 2403 Aviation Boulevard and includes the demolition, construction, and replacement of areas "D" and "E" roof assembly. The roof assembly is thermoplastic polyolefin membrane, tapered polyisocyanurate board insulation over base course of polyisocyanurate board insulation, and existing metal deck. - Project consists of the re-roofing of Sioux Gateway Airport Terminal(Phase II). - The Project consists of the removal and replacement of the roof of Phase II of the existing Sioux Gateway Airport terminal building. Site Address: 2403 Aviation Boulevard Each bid must be made on a form furnished by the City and must be accompanied by a bid bond, a cashier's check or certified check of an Iowa bank or a bank chartered under the laws of the United States, or a certified share draft drawn on a credit union in Iowa or chartered under the laws of the United States, in an amount equal to ten percent (10%) of the amount of the bid, made payable to the City Treasurer of the City of Sioux City, Iowa. The check or draft may be cashed by the City Treasurer as liquidated damages in the event the successful bidder fails to enter into a contract within the ten (10) days after notice of award and post bond satisfactory to the City ensuring the faithful fulfillment of the contract. The "Utilization of Targeted Small Business (TSB) Enterprises on Non-Federal Aid Projects (Third-Party State Assisted Project)," will apply and is hereby made a part of the project. There is not an identified TSB project goal, however the proposer is expected to promote participation with documented efforts to be submitted with the bid proposal per the specifications. The work on this project shall begin upon receipt of the Notice to Proceed and be fully completed by April 30, 2025. However, the City reserves the right to reject any or all bids, re-advertise for new bids and to waive informalities that may be in the best interest of the City.
