Project Description: The project includes constructing a new steel soldier pile and concrete lagging retaining wall to repair the slope failure adjacent to 2 Upper Road West in Ross. The repair will include construction of a new 37.5-foot long retaining wall, new guard rail, asphalt paving, asphalt berm, and other items. Questions concerning the Bid should be submitted via online no later than 5 p.m. on Tuesday July 23, 2024. There will be no pre-bid meeting for this project. The Contractor shall possess a valid Class "A" License Tat time of bid submittal and from contract award through Contract acceptance (23 CFR 635.110). A Bid Bond, cash, certified check, or cashier's check, in the amount of 10% of the total bid amount payable to the Marin County Open Space District shall accompany the Proposal. Award of contract, if awarded, will be to the lowest responsible bidder whose proposal complies with prescribed requirements, and will be within thirty (30) days after receipt of proposals. The Board of Directors of the Marin County Open Space District reserves the right to reject any or all bids and the right to waive any irregularities.
