Scope of work includes excavation, grading, removal of existing decomposed granite pathways, lighting, landscape, electrical, and installation of concrete pathways with decorative paving insets. The City Utilizes Construction Management (Cm) Software to Manage Construction Projects. The Current Software Platform is Procore. The Contractor Shall Be Required to Interface With the Cm Software for All Aspects of Construction, Including, but Not Limited to, Schedule, Submittals, Rfis, Contract Documents, Inspections, and Progress Payments. The City Will Provide the Contractor's Representatives Access to the System. Bid Proposal Guaranty shall be in the form of a cashier's or certified check payable to the City of Santa Ana, or Bid Bond issued by a corporate surety, in an amount not less than ten percent (10%) of the bid aggregate, as a guarantee that the Bidder will enter into the proposed contract if the same is awarded. The signature of the bidder on the bid bond must be notarized. Contractor Shall, After Award of This Contract, Furnish Two Bonds to Be Approved by the City, One in the Amount of One Hundred Percent (100%) of the Contract Price, to Guarantee the Faithful Performance of the Work (Performance Bond), and One in the Amount of One Hundred Percent (100%) Of the Contract Price to Guarantee Payment of All Claims for Labor and Materials Furnished (Payment Bond). This Contract Shall Not Become Effective Until Such Bonds Are Supplied to and Approved by the City.
