Site work and new construction of an educational facility in Fairfax, Virginia. Completed plans call for the construction of a educational facility.

The Owner seeks to retain the services of a Construction Management/General Contractor (CM/GC) for the project. The purpose of the Request for Proposal (RFP) is to solicit proposals for selecting a CM/GC for the services hereinafter described from the Offerors on the short list. This RFP sets forth the minimum performance criteria. By choosing the Construction Manager at Risk construction delivery method, it is intended that the CM/GC and the Architect shall work in the spirit of teamwork to assure the project goals and timeframes are met to support the Owner’s program. The project is described in Attachment “A” and will have an anticipated construction budget of Twenty One Million Seven Hundred Fifty Thousand ($21,750,000). Construction Manager or Construction Manager “At Risk” (CM/GC): The person, firm or other legal entity who proposes to provide all pre-construction and construction services for the project. The CM is hereinafter also called the Contractor in this Request for Proposal.
