SCOPE OF WORK : To provide all labor, materials, equipment, expertise and supervision to remove and dispose of one of the existing two HVAC heat pump/compressor unit and air handler at the Reverse Osmosis (RO) Plant Server Room and furnish and install a new complete and functioning, HVAC system for the RO Server Room (Brand Name or Approved Equal). Complete turn-key project including all materials, labor, supervision, clean-up, and all other incidentals needed to complete the work. Work Location: Gloucester County Water Treatment Plant, 8214 Reservoir Ridge Road, Gloucester, Virginia 23061. Reverse Osmosis (RO) Plant Server Room HVAC Replacement: The County desires to have one of the two Server Room HVAC heat pumps and air handlers completely removed and replaced with a new 10-Ton HVAC system including heat pump/compressor unit, air handler, piping, pipe insulation, ductwork, drain lines, electrical connections installation including breakers if required, complete in place and made operational. Contractor shall coordinate with RO Plant Operations staff hours for construction activities to occur. It is anticipated that the County will work with the Contractor to develop a schedule for activities that is mutually beneficial. BACKGROUND: The Gloucester County Reverse Osmosis (RO) Building, located at 8929 Reservoir Ridge Road, needs replacing one of the existing HVAC heat pump/compressor unit and air handler at the RO building with a new and complete functioning system. There are two eight-ton units which cool and condition the air in the RO Server room. Both units are old, but one of the units is only functioning below rated capacity. The County wants this unit taken off-line, removed, and replaced with new. The specifications for the new unit will follow below. Contractor to provide all equipment, tools, electrical, controls and labor to make the new unit efficient and operational.
