The Project generally consists of the following work: Remove Existing main service disconnect, ATS, and assorted disconnects at the Town Hall. Remove existing ATS, disconnects and power panel at the activities building. Install new 100kW natural gas generator, purchased by the Town of Queensbury. Install new service disconnect, install existing 400A ATS unit, and install new MDP, and reconnect existing loads at the Town Hall. Install New ATS, service disconnect and panelboard in the Activities Building and reconnect existing loads. Connect new generator to existing natural gas piping located behind the new generator. Work shall be substantially completed ninety days (90) calendar days from the issuance of the Notice to Proceed. Final restoration shall be completed and the project ready for final payment by one hundred and four (104) calendar days from the issuance of the Notice to Proceed. Bid security in the amount of 5% of the Bid must accompany the Bid in accordance with the Instruction to Bidders. The successful Bidder will be required to furnish a performance bond and a payment bond, each in an amount equal to 100% of the contract price. Bidders will also be required to furnish a Non-Collusive Affidavit. The Town of Queensbury, as Owner, Reserves the Right to Waive Any Informalities or Irregularities in the Bid Received, or to Reject Any Bid Without Explanation.
