Renovation of a municipal facility in Beaufort, South Carolina. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
The project consists of installing four (4) new windows on the second floor of the Sheriff's office in accordance with project drawings. Question Submission Deadline: August 19, 2024, 5:00pm Contract Time: 120 calendar days Liquidated Damages: $200 per day All Bids shall be accompanied by a Bid Bond drawn in favor of the Beaufort County Treasurer of Beaufort County, Beaufort, South Carolina, in the amount of at least five percent (5%) of the bid for the complete work: such Bid Bond representing that the Bidder, if awarded a contract, will promptly enter into a contract and furnish Performance Bond and Payment Bond as provided by law and approved by the attorney for Beaufort County, South Carolina. Each bond shall be equal one hundred percent (100%) of the contract amount. A copy of the Bid Bond or Certified Check must be electronically Beaufort County reserves the right to reject all proposals and to waive minor informalities and irregularities. The work area is within an operations center for the Beaufort County Sheriff’s Department. Supervision must be provided during the times work is being performed. Dailey housekeeping shall be enforced, and dust control will be mandatory. Material deliveries to the work area must be coordinated with the Sheriff’s office.
