2024/07/30 12:00:00 AM EDT Bidders Shall Include All Supervision, Labour, Materials, Tools, Equipment, Services, Etc. Required to Complete All Hygrothermal Investigations Works to the Full Extent of the Drawings, Specification, and Tender Package Pd- 02.1 for a Complete Scope. Review All Drawings, Specification and Notes of All Disciplines to Ensure That the Complete Scope of Work is Captured. Note: Drawings of All Disciplines Are All Inter-related.
The Scope of Work Shall Include, but is Not Necessarily Limited to, the Following:
Investigations as Indicated in the Following Documents
Zeidler S1-0003-investigation Package #2 (Hygrothermal)-marshall, Canada Four Corners, Birks, Bate, Victoria and Union Buildings Dated 2024-05-31
Material Sampling Location - Supply and Install Monitoring Sensors (Red Text on Drawings)
Interior Partition Wall Sampling Location (Blue Text on Drawings)
Abatement, Removal and Disposal of Hazardous Materials (Asbestos, Lead and Silica Have Been Identified) as Per Dsr, to the Extent Required to Support Investigations.
Provide Temporary Enclosures for Your Own Works Incl. Coordination With Haz-mat Sampling and Air Sampling and Monitoring.
Supply All Labour and Material Required to Seal/close the Openings as Required.
Remove Section of Interior Finishes as Needed to Facilitate Sensor Installation
Scanning of Walls Prior to Coring Concrete/substrate Scanning and Coring
Supply and Install Sensors as Indicated.
Install and Seal Sensors Within Pex Pipe. Place Pipe Into Hole at Prescribed Depth. .
Supply and Install Silicon Sealant Between Pex Pipe and Masonry Drill Hole
Reinstate Finishes at the Interior Locations After Sensor Installation (Concrete Reinstatement)
Supply and Install Raceway at Interior Wall Service.
Supply and Install Junction Box Next to Sensor Locations to Receive Monitoring Wires.
Careful Removal of Masonry Unit (Brick or Stone), Tag and Store in Safe Location
Patch Location of Removal as Per Plans and Specs.
Reinstate Interior or Exterior Finishes as Per Plans and Specs.
Transport Samples From Site to Testing Center.
Provide All Equipment, Scaffolding or Other Temporary Means of Access Required for the Completion of Own Work
Coordinate Works With Heritage and Structural Consultants as Indicated
Label and Document Investigative Works as Specified Provide Written and Photographic Report as Specified
Provide as-built Records of Investigations as Specified Official bid documents must be obtained from www.merx.com and bid submissions must be done through the Merx platform.
