Site work and paving for a bridge / tunnel in Tacoma, Washington. Conceptual plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel; and for paving for a bridge / tunnel.
The work under this contract is to provide professional services to seismically retrofit the S 48th St bridge. The consultant's role is to design to ensure the safety and longevity of the bridge. A pre-proposal meeting will not be held. There is no DBE (Disadvantaged Business Enterprise) goal assigned. In the absence of a mandatory DBE goal, a voluntary SBE goal of 10% of the Consultant Agreement is established. Although the SBE goal is voluntary, the outreach efforts to provide SBE maximum practicable opportunities are not. Pre-Submittal Questions: 7/17/2024 Response to Questions: 7/23/2024. Questions should be submitted to Carly Fowler via email to cfowler@cityoftacoma.org. The anticipated duration of the contract is for a one-year period with the City's sole option tom renew for additional periods as applicable. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
