PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Veterans Health Administration (VHA) Program Contracting Activity Central (PCAC) requires the construction of a new Sterile Processing Services at the Royal C. Johnson Veterans Memorial Hospital in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. This project has been determined to be a Bona Fide need by Veteran Integrated Service Network (VISN) 23, the Sioux Falls Veteran s Affairs Medical Center (VAMC), and the Healthcare Environment and Facilities Programs (HEFP), previously known as Office of Capital Asset Management Engineering Support (OCAMES). The Sioux Falls VAMC is seeking a General Contractor (GC) to construct a Sterile Processing Service(s) addition to Building 05 of the Royal C. Johnson Veteran s Memorial Hospital. The requirement will include but is not limited to the preparation of the site for building operations, including demolition and removal of portions of existing structure, site construction and furnishing of labor, materials, equipment, management, supervision, tools, and all other necessary resources to perform the required work. Â ADMINISTRATIVE: The solicitation will be issued as a Request for Fee Proposal (RFP) conducted in accordance with FAR Parts 15, 19, and 36 and will be evaluated in accordance with the Tradeoffs procedures listed in the solicitation.
