New construction of a mixed-use development in Midland, Ontario. Design plans call for the construction of a 20,000-square-foot, five-story above grade, 100-unit multi-residential development.
Construction of a residential development to create a multi-phased Seniors continuum of care campus on the subject property. Phase 4 would include up to three rental low rise apartment buildings for seniors containing a total of 100 units. TIMELINE: Designs are underway. The owner and the town of Midland are working on a revised scope of development for the site. Working drawings are expected in spring 2025. This project has secured funding through the provincial Long-Term Care Home Capital Development funding Policy. A contractor will be invited early 2025. Construction is expected summer, 2025 pending completion of prior phases. *Construction of prior phases followed separately includes Phase 1 would include a two-storey Long Term Care home with 128 beds, corporate offices for Jarlette Health Services, a Seniors Health Hub offering health and social services, and a Centre of Excellence for academic studies in regard to seniors health issues and Phase 2 a five-storey retirement lodge with up to 140 units. Phase Three a seniors residential building.
