Demolition, site work, remodeling and renovation of a detention facility in Enumclaw, Washington. Completed plans call for the renovation of a detention facility; for the remodel of a detention facility; for the demolition of a detention facility; and for site work for a detention facility.
The project is the remodeling of a portion of the City of Enumclaw Jail located in the subfloor of the Police Department. The scope of the improvements includes the demolition and remodeling of the current entry way to the layout of the jail. The project will require the removal of walls, fixtures, and appurtenances to expand the entry area. The scope will include fimshing of the now entry way. remodeling of the men's restroom, the women's restroom is included as a bid alternate. The scope also mcludes low-voltage upgrades that will require the placement of con duit, cabling, and fixtures. A Pre-Bid Site Visit will be conducted on January 14th from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm. No additional site visits will be authorized prior to the bid opening. Notice to Proceed and the beginning of construction must begin no later than the week of February 14th due to time restriction on the jail closure. Bids must be accompanied by a certified check or bond. payable to the City of Enunclaw of not less than 5% of the total bid.
