VDOT reserves the right to request additional crews with thirty (30) days advance notice. Additionally, VDOT reserves the right to decrease crews based on forecasted work needs. Contractor shall provide copies of certifications and/or licenses for all personnel at the time of the bid submission, or at the request of the agency, at the time of any new hires and at each renewal to insure continued qualifications of personnel. Reference Attachment C - Vender Qualification and Equipment Inventory Certification form The provisions of laws requiring the payment of a prevailing minimum wage rate are incorporated in and expressly made a part of this Contract. The Contractor and the Contractor’s subcontractors shall pay wages, salaries, benefits, and other remuneration to any mechanic, laborer, or worker employed, retained, or otherwise hired to perform services in connection with the Contract at a rate at least equal to the prevailing wage rates determined by the Virginia Commissioner of Labor and Industry for work to be performed under this Contract, as outlined in Attachment K. The wage determination establishes the rates that must be paid for the entire term of the Contract. Lighting System Maintenance & Repair to various lighting systems in the Hampton Roads District and Navy Base Installations within the Hampton Roads District Any questions regarding this invitation for bid shall be addressed to Telicia Hailey at Telicia.Hailey@VDOT.virginia.gov. The issuing office shall determine whether any addendum should be issued as a result of any questions or other matters raised. Provide questions no later than 5:00 PM EST on August 1, 2024. The contract period will be from date of award through two (2) years, with the opportunity for three (3) optional, consecutive one-year renewal terms.
