The Work Includes, but Not Necessarily Limited to, Box Widening, Milling and Pavement Overlay, Cement Concrete Sidewalks, Cement Concrete Pedestrian Curb Ramps, Granite Curbing and Edging, Drainage System Modifications, Installation of a Traffic Signal, Traffic Signs, Pavement Markings, and Other Related Work. Bids Must Be Accompanied by a Certified or Bank Checks or Bid Bond, Subject to the Conditions Provided in the Instructions to Bidders. The Amount of the Bid Deposit Shall Be an Amount of Five Percent (5%) of the Bidder's Maximum Total Bid Price, Payable to the City of Beverly, Massachusetts. The Bid Security Will Be Retained Until the Successful Bidder Has Executed the Contract With the City and Provided All Bonds and Insurance Binders, Whereupon It Will Be Returned. If the Bidder Fails to Execute the Contract and Provide the Additional Documentation Within Five (5) Working Days of the Notice of Award, the City May Annul the Award and the Bid Security Will Be Forfeited.
