The City of Greenville will receive sealed bids to remove the old basketball courts at Pearl Street Park, located at 301 E. Pearl Street, Greenville, MI. The Work will include the removal of 1013 syd of bituminous surface and 4 basketball posts and rims. Once removed, the same area of compost shall be loaded, hauled and spread to a depth of 4 inches and hydroseeded. The Contractor shall use City-supplied compost that can be obtained at 1150 Owen Mumaw Industrial Drive, also in Greenville. No BIDDER shall withdraw his BID for a period of ninety (90) days after the date of the BID opening without forfeiture of his BID BOND. CONTRACT TIME: The Contractor shall complete the work within 30 days of the Notice to Proceed. The Scope of Work for the GREENVILLE PEARL STREET PARK PROJECT includes removal of the old HMA basketball court surface that measures 60' x 152' x 2" and 4 basketball posts, backboards, hoops and nets. The Contractor will load, haul and spread City-supplied compost material from the site at 1150 Owen Mumaw Drive to replace the removed court and hydroseed to establish a new lawn area.
