Renovation of a stadium in Dorval, Quebec. Completed plans call for the renovation of a stadium.
Reference number: 20009832 Deadline for receipt of complaints: 2024-08-14 The City of Dorval is inviting bids for the complete rehabilitation of the Dorval aquatic and sports center, i.e. all roofs on the pool, gymnasium, lobby, locker rooms and mechanical room. The work is deemed necessary following several water infiltrations observed since the CASD was built in 2015. Several spot repairs have been carried out on various basins. Investigations and expert reports have shown that several sections of insulation are damp/wet, and that there is significant heat loss at the junction of roofs and walls. For these reasons, the present project also calls for the replacement of insulated wooden parapets and low walls around the perimeter of the basins, with special attention to the continuity of the vapour barrier between roofs and walls, as well as equipment bases and roof accessories.
