CSO Solicitation No. 2462 The Department is seeking to engage one (1) firm to perform the Construction Engineering and Inspection services for the following project: scope of "T" $ 300,000,000 $ 399,999,999 Project No. 0300-0214- This project, Contract A, is the first of three portions for contract 0301-0536. This project includes improvements to Longbrook Avenue, including realigning and reprofiling the roadway, and replacing the existing bridge to increase the Minimum Vertical Clearance to current standards. The traffic signal at the intersection of Longbrook Avenue and U.S. Route 1 (Barnum Avenue) will be altered. Three new track Crossovers are to be installed within existing interlocking CP-257 between MP 56,65 500ft (West of Seaview Avenue) to MP 57.00 (East of Central Avenue). Track geometry improvements impacting the catenary system include raising of all four of the mainline track profiles generally within several hundred feet of each new crossover to ensure they are cross-level, Other Catenary improvements include new contract wire to accommodate the crossover moves, and related adjustments to sectionalizing overlaps. Several new Catenary structures will also be part of Contract A to facilitate future corridor improvements. Firms responding to this request should be of adequate size and sufficiently staffed with experienced and licensed personnel to perform this assignment and will be required to provide the necessary staffing upon execution of the contract The Department, in its sole discretion, reserves the right to cancel this solicitation and terminate the process to retain consultant services, and is under no obligation to contract for the services specified herein.
