The purpose of this Tender process is to select a Bidder to supply and install a new standby generator and provide all associated modifications and power transfer equipment at the Charlottetown Police Station located on 10 Kirkwood Drive in Charlottetown, PE C1A 2T3 This project involves the supply and installation of a new standby generator at the Charlottetown Police Station. The scope of work includes but not limited to: 1) Removal and disposal of existing standby generator including all redundant controls, conduits, wiring, etc. 2) Supply and installation of a new diesel standby generator as indicated and specified. 3) Supply and installation of a new Automatic Transfer Switch (ATS). 4) Provision for conduit, wiring, controls, etc. associated with this work. 5) Provision for cutting/drilling through walls, slabs, etc., removal of existing generator, ventilation louvers and remediation of exterior concrete wall. 6) Site work including concrete pad, bollards, open trenching and associated site remediation. 7) Removal of existing generator fuel tank within Generator Room. 8) Testing and commissioning to ensure that all systems are fully functioning to the satisfaction of the Owner and the Consultant. Provide technical training as needed. 9) Removal of debris off site. 10) Cleaning.
