A preferred minimum of three (3) of these projects are preferred to have been completed within the last ten (10) years. Bidders lacking this experience may be deemed non-responsible in the sole discretion of the County. SCOPE OF WORK: (Contractor must obtain and submit all permits prior to performing any work.) CONTRACTOR shall review all documents, plans, and scope of work provided by Miami-Dade County Parks, Recreation, and Open Spaces Department, Construction Division for work to be completed. Furnish all labor, equipment, and materials required to comply with the intent of the WORK described in the contract documents including but not limited to Recreation center and Library improvements include but are not limited to: the construction of a new Recreation Center with a Library component, special audio-visual components and Art in Public Places art installation infrastructure. Also included a new associated ancillary building, the construction of left and right turning lanes, median cut, main entrance drive and drop off road, the construction of a new lighted paved parking lot with 143 parking spaces, stabilized sod parking area, connection to utility services, the replacement of existing solar powered light fixtures with electric fixtures, new irrigation and new irrigation well, miscellaneous new walkways, new landscaping, site furnishings and restoration as needed.The CONTRACTOR shall protect all existing park components: playground, basketball courts, walkways, existing trees, benches and other existing site furnishings including perimeter fence. The CONTRACTOR shall perform the WORK complete, in place, tested, and ready for continuous occupancy, and shall include repairs, replacements, and restoration required as a result of damages caused during the construction. CONTRACTOR shall furnish all labor, materials, equipment, services, and incidentals to complete all work required by these contract documents and as can be inferred and necessary for the proper completion of the WORK, whether specifically indicated in the contract documents or not.
