Site work for a water / sewer project in Vancouver, Washington. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
Scope of Work - The City of Vancouver has two (2) fueling sites that contain five (5) underground fuel storage tanks that require post-testing deficiency repairs. Contractor shall perform fuel tank deficiency repairs at all locations. Locations of the tanks, their size, and the product stored in them are listed below as well as the repairs required. Fire Station 5: 7110 NE 63rd St., Vancouver, WA 98661 o Tank 1 - 3,000 gallon unleaded - Crack was discovered and shall be repaired. The float is not moving freely without binding and poppet moves into flow path. Tank shall be repaired to remove this error. o Tank 2 - 3,000 gallon unleaded - Failed the auto shutoff device inspection. The float is not moving freely without binding and poppet moves into flow path. Tank shall be repaired to remove this error. o Tank 3 - 3,000 gallon diesel - Tank is missing adapter gasket and shall be replaced. Operations Center: 4711 E Fourth Plain Blvd., Vancouver, WA 98661 o Tank 2 - 4,000 gallon diesel - The probe float is preventing the probes from completely coming out and shall be repaired o Tank 3 - 4,000 gallon diesel - The fill/spill bucket failed testing, and a crack was found in the upper side of the spill bucket. The probe float is preventing the probes from completely coming out. Both the probe and crack shall be repaired. Engineer's Estimate - $6,000
