Site work for a civil project in Bowling Green, Ohio. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.

This project includes approximately 4700 LF of 8 and 6500 LF of 12 waterline to be installed by HDD and open cut. This also includes casing pipe to cross I-75 and SR 582. The waterline includes appurtenances such as gate valves, butterfly valves in manholes, air release manholes, services, and meter pits. The sewer system includes approximately 3800lf of 8, 7300 LF of 15, and 300 LF of 24 gravity sewer. The sewer system includes manholes, services, and grinder pumps. There are 2 submersible pump stations including pumps, electrical, SCADA, a building, a generator, and a chemical manhole. Bids will be received for a single prime Contract. Bids shall be on a lump sum/unit price basis, as indicated in the Bid Form. The bid guaranty may be of two forms: 1. A Bid Guaranty and Contract Bond using the form in the Contract Documents. (The amount of the bid does NOT have to appear on this form.). 2. A certified check, cashiers check or letter of credit in favor of the Northwestern Water and Sewer District in the amount of 10% of the bid. If the contract is awarded, a Contract Bond will be required, which is a 100% payment and performance bond. After the award of the contract led by competitive bid and prior to the time the contract is entered into, bidders shall submit the affidavits required subject to the conditions provided in the Instructions to Bidders. This procurement is subject to the EPA policy of encouraging the participation of small business in rural areas (SBRAs). This procurement is also subject to the EPA policies of Equal Employment Opportunity, Debarment, Disadvantaged Business Enterprises Utilization, American Iron and Steel, Violating Facilities Clause, Prohibition on Telecommunications and Video Surveillance. The Board of Trustees reserves the right to waive any irregularities in the form of a bid that does not affect or destroy competitive bidding. In no case will an award be made until all necessary investigations are made as to the qualifications of the bidder to whom it is proposed to award a contract. No bidder may withdraw its bid for a period of sixty (60) days after the scheduled closing time for the receipt of bids. ***Document Note: Prospective Bidders are urged to register with the designated website as a plan holder, even if Bidding Documents are obtained from a plan room or source other than the designated website in either electronic or paper format. The designated website will be updated periodically with addenda, lists of registered plan holders, reports, and other information relevant to submitting a Bid for the Project. All official notifications, addenda, and other Bidding Documents will be offered only through the designated website. Neither Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for Bidding Documents, including addenda, if any, obtained from sources other than the designated website. Failure to submit a complete set of documents could result in a bid that is determined to be nonresponsive and rejected by the Owner. Shipping and tax charges are the bidders responsibility and payable directly to Becker Impressions.
