Title: Replace Chiller REPLACE CHILLER, BLDG 382 Solicitation No.: N40085-24-R-2776 DAM NECK ANNEX, VA BEACH, VA Work Order No.: 1779363 Location of the work: Building 382, Dam Neck Annex, Virginia Beach, Virginia Description of the work: The scope of work involves removal of the existing nominal 40-ton air cooled chiller, demolition of associated piping and installation of a new nominal 40-ton air cooled chiller and associated chilled water piping. New chilled water piping must include emergency chiller connections.The existing chiller will be turned over to the Government. Temporary chilled water service is required during construction. Electrical work (power and DDC) must be provided to support the removal of the existing chiller, operation of temporary chiller and installation of new chiller. Estimated Budget Amount or Price Range: In accordance with FAR 36.204 Disclosure of the Magnitude of Construction Projects, the estimated price range for this project is between $500,000 and $1,000,000.Liquidated damages: In accordance with FAR 52.211-12 Liquidated Damages, if the Contractor fails to complete the work within the time specified in the contract, the Contractor shall pay liquidated damages to the Government in the amount of $110.99 for each calendar day of delay until the work is completed or accepted.Pre-Propsal Inquiries (PPIs): PPIs must be submitted in writing on the attached Pre-Proposal Inquiry Form (ATTACHMENT F) to Jessica Grosso at jessica.m.grosso.civ@us.navy.mil no later than 14 August 2024 at 2:00 PM EDT. *The value for this project is based on a financial range.
