Rock Hill Schools is requesting bids for an HVAC rooftop replacement at Saluda Trail Middle School. Bids shall be received in accordance with the Invitation for Bid and supplementary information provided in the instructions. Disconnect and remove existing SPAC-A-1 and SPAC-A-2 roof top packaged AC units to be replaced with new units. . Provide and install new SPAC-A-1 and SPAC-A-2 units. Provide and install new roof curbs if necessary. . New units must be equivalent, or better than, existing unit performance specifications. All work required to provide fully functional and operating units shall be part of this scope. This includes electrical, mechanical, roofing modifications, controls, start-up and safety shutdown components including smoke detectors as necessary. . New units shall be sized as closely as possible to the existing unit heating and cooling capactiy. . Contractor shall verify voltage and power requirements prior to ordering new units. New units shall include factory installed and programmed controls with BACNET MSTP integration capability. The School District shall provide a new, dedicated Ethernet drop in Electrical room A148A. Contractor shall provide and install a new BACNET MSTP/IP router in room A148A to allow MSTP integration to the new SPAC units. Contractor shall provide and install new MSTP network wiring as required to complete the integration of the new equipment to the existing BAS. .Existing LON network must be kept in operation for remaining HVAC and Lighting control systems. Care must be taken during the removal of the old SPAC units to modify this network cabling in an appropriate manner to maintain reliable LON Network communication.
