Aug 08, 2024 02:00 PM EDT This Service is for the Collection of Water Samples From Potable Water Systems in Facilities in the National Capital Region (Ncr) and for Laboratory Services to Perform Testing of the Water Samples to Determine Concentrations of Specified Parameters. This Testing is Required to Monitor and Maintain the Quality of Potable Water as Per Health Canada's Guidelines for Canadian Drinking Water Quality (Gcdwq).
The Supplier Shall Furnish All Components, Labour, Vehicles, Products, Equipment, Tools, Sub-contracts, and All Other Goods and Services to Provide the Services, Which Are to Be Performed in Accordance With the Terms and Conditions of the Agreement.
The Buildings Included in This Service Are Client-owned or Leased Facilities Located Throughout the Ncr.
The Proponent Must Possess a Thorough Working Knowledge of the Latest Version of Guidelines for Canadian Drinking Water Quality (Gcdwq) and the Guidance for Providing Safe Drinking Water in Areas of Federal Jurisdiction, Have Experience With Potable Water Testing, and Have Access to an Accredited Laboratory.
The Supplier Must Conduct a Kick-off Meeting With the Respective Facility Teams Upon Award of Contract and Must Provide the Required Number of Days of Notice (as Per Facility Team) Prior to Being on Site to Complete Any Work Under the Agreement.
The Supplier Will Attend One (1) "Program Meeting" Per Year Which Will Focus on Performance, Areas for Improvement With the Program, Future Cost Saving Initiatives or Provide General Discussion and Recommendations.
It is Imperative That the Successful Proponent, Upon Issuance of a Purchase Order (Po), Collect the Requested Samples on a Single Trip (in One Day or Several Days in a Row), and in All Cases Possible Combine Sample Collection for Multiple Sites/pos. This is to Promote Cost Efficiency and Sustainability. Bgis is Open to Recommendations in This Matter to Promote Cost Savings.
