The City of Redondo Beach ("City") is seeking proposals from qualified professionals and environmental consulting firms to conduct environmental review, including preparation of all environmental documents as required by the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA), associated with the reconstruction and improvement of the Avenue A Access Ramp generally located at the intersection of Avenue A and the Esplanade in the City of Redondo Beach and extends approximately 267 feet from the upper level at the western terminus of Avenue A to the beach level and exits adjacent to the beach bike path. Project Description. During the closure, DBH prepared construction drawings for the access ramp repair project. DBH is now submitting a request for a coastal development permit to replace the existing access ramp with a new design that includes two stairs cases on either side of an ADA-compliant access path connecting the Esplanade to the beach below.
