This project will mill 2" of asphalt from the exiting roadways within the project limits, to be followed by a paving lift of 2" of PAG mix #2 (low volume) hot mix asphaltic cement concrete paving using a PG 76-22TR+ binder. The project has 8.33 miles of roadway to be resurfaced (approximately 168,000 SY). Additionally, 72 curb access ramps have been identified for construction to PROWAG standards and 33 Speed Humps shall be replaces to current Department of Transportation and Mobility Standards. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document. Bidders/Offerors shall furnish, with their bid/offer, a bid surety in the amount of ten percent (10%) of their total bid/offer. This may be in the form of a bid bond, certified check, cashier's check, letter of credit from a bank, certificate of deposit, or money order. Checks provided as surety will be deposited by the City. Refunds will be made to any unsuccessful bidders/offerors upon determination of award. Prior to the execution of the Contract, the successful Bidder will be required to furnish two (2) Bonds, one being the full amount (100%) of the contract price, to be designated the Statutory Performance Bond, conditioned that the Contractor shall fully perform the Contract; and one being in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the Contract price, to be designated the Statutory Payment Bond, conditioned that the Contractor shall pay for all labor and materials used or contracted for in the performance of the Contract.
