Site work, paving and renovation of a mixed-use development in Windcrest, Texas. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot; for the renovation of a swimming pool; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.

The Purpose of this Request for Qualifications (RFQ) is to engage licensed architectural and engineering firms ("Service Provider(s)") experienced in the design of outdoor pools to assist the City of Windcrest (the "City"), with detailed design services, develop construction documents, assist with bidding/negotiation, and conduct construction administration services. The project is to be located at the intersection of Crestway and Jim Seal Drive in Windcrest Texas, 78239. The City of Windcrest desires to design and construct a new fully ADA accessible outdoor swimming pool and the City anticipates the following scope will be included: o Competition level swim lanes o Bathhouse o Shade areas o Parking o Mechanical systems o Electrical systems, o Utilities o support buildings o Pump Chemical Room o Floor Plan o Building elevations o Site Plan- parking lot, entry, site work, utilities extensions o Documentation as required to delineate the project and obtain a professional estimate of probable cost for the full extent of the project o Construction Documents o Construction Phase Services The approximate Construction Cost for this scope is $5.0 million dollars. Professional design services include, but not limited to Architectural, Structural Engineering, Civil , MEP, Environmental, Geotechnical, etc. The scope of each project will be specific for the site and the project. Design Services and Contract Documents: The selected consultant will be responsible for preparing the design and construction documents associated with the City of Windcrest Community Pool to include, at a minimum, the following phases: o Schematic Design o Design Development Phase o Construction Documents Phase o Bidding Phase o Construction Administration o Develop outline specifications at 30%, abbreviated specifications at 60%, and full specifications at 95% in electronic format. o Opinion of probable cost at each phase to deliver the Project to completion. o Consultant shall coordinate and facilitate community meetings as required by client (minimum two (2) meetings. This Request for Statement of Qualifications Does Not Commit the City of Windcrest to Pay Any Costs Incurred Prior to Execution of a Contract. Issuance of This Material in No Way Obligates the City of Windcrest To Award a Contract or to Pay Any Costs Incurred in the Preparation of a Response. The City of Windcrest Specifically Reserves the Right to Vary All Provisions Set Forth at Any Time Prior to Execution of a Contract Where It Deems It to Be in the Best Interest of the City of Windcrest.
