CONTRACT TIME: 60 WORKING DAYS The award, if made, will be made to the lowest qualified bidder on the basis of published quantities. The Board of Supervisors hereby notifies all bidders that it will affirmatively ensure that in any contract entered into pursuant to this advertisement; minority business enterprise will be afforded full opportunity to submit bids in response to this invitation and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, or national origin in consideration for an award. Certified check or bid bond for five percent (5%) of the total bid, made payable to Prentiss County and the State of Mississippi must accompany each proposal. For Bidders submitting bids electronically, the bond submitted must be either a bond issued by the Surety in electronic format or the original hard copy of the bid bond must be submitted to the Prentiss County Board of Supervisors, 100 North Main Street, Booneville, Mississippi prior to the bid opening in order for the bid to be valid. PLANS AND PROPOSALS may be secured from Kenneth P. Geno, Jr., County Engineer for Prentiss County at Online. The cost is fifty dollars ($50.00) for plans and fifty dollars ($50.00) for the proposal, non- refundable. PLANS AND PROPOSALS may also be downloaded electronically for an additional $25 fee by Bidders for electronic bidding purposes ONLY. All Bidders are to upload electronic bids in .PDF format only.
